Job Description

We are currently looking for an operational transport planner for land transport for a summer temporary position with our client in Solna. Take the opportunity to join a close-knit team in an exciting role. As this is a summer temporary position to cover for regular staff, there is no possibility for extended leave, possibly a few days or a week.

Assignment: May - August

Scope: 40h/week, hybrid. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

You will work with different flows, oversee transports, and be the spider in the web among suppliers, carriers, and warehouses.

Your tasks include:

• Check and coordinate transports, see what has come in
• Register how the week's transports look
• Follow up on KPIs
• Enter data in Excel
• Register unloading time
• Invoice management

The department in Solna consists of 6 colleagues who work with different parts of the company's transport and logistics. You will help each other, but also have different areas of responsibility. During your initial period, you will receive on-site training from regular staff. You will work in several different systems, both old systems and new ones being implemented.

Qualifications

For this role, we would like you to have:

• Experience in transport work for at least 1 year, or alternatively, an education in transport/logistics with internship.
• Experience in administrative work, at least 1 year.
• Communicative
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and at least basic knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Outlook and email
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Proactive, initiative-taking, and solution-oriented.

Meritorious:

• System-savvy, experience with both transport and invoicing systems.
• Experience with customs

You enjoy having many points of contact, both internally and externally, and you value and maintain your contacts. You are also not afraid to pick up the phone when needed to quickly move forward in certain matters.
